The trailer for ‘Parachute’ has been released on the eve of Children’s Day and the project looks quite intriguing. It is a Hotstar special and will be premiering on the platform on the 29th of November this year.
The show was announced last year, and it looks like the Tamil content industry is really putting focus on movies and shows for children. We had seen Mari Selvaraj coming with his wonderful beautiful children’s drama ‘Vaazhai’. It worked out really well in theaters and got massive views on OTT as well. Vaazhai too is streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
The trailer for ‘Parachute’ does not give away much of its plot but gives a glimpse of what the overall vibe of the show is going to be.
There will be actors like Shaam, Kishore, Kani Thiru, and Kaali Venkat in important roles, and child actors Shakthi Ritwik and Iyal will be in the lead. The show is directed by Sridhar K. The cinematography is handled by Om Narayan and the music is given by Rasu Ranjith. Richard Kevin has worked in the editing process, Kevin is known for previously working in projects like ‘Vikram Vedha’ and ‘Suzhal’.
In the guise of a children’s drama and a tale of the curiosities of a child, the show is going to explore some deep family values as well.
