Dice Media’s ‘What The Folks’ has just made the announcement that every fan of the slice-of-life show has been waiting for. The show returns with a new season, after a gap of more than two years. ‘What The Folks‘ Season 4 is all set to premiere on 22nd January. The What The Folks new season will stream on Dice Media’s YouTube channel, just like the previous three seasons of the popular show.
The happy news of a new season of What The Folks brings with it an unfortunate piece of accompanying news. What The Folks Season 4 will be the final season of the much-loved show. With it, the funny, delightful, and often times thought-provoking show will bid adieu to its fans and followers forever.
Primary cast members, Eisha Chopra and Veer Rajwant Singh, return to reprise their roles of Anita and Nikhil Solanki. Deepika Amin too returns to play Anita’s mother, Sudha Sharma. Sadly, Vipin Sharma, Renuka Shahane and Shishir Sharma will not be returning in What The Folks Season 4. Actor Nitish Pandey takes the place of Vipin Sharma as Anita’s father in What The Folks Season 4. Renuka Shahane and Shishir Sharma’s tracks as Nikhil’s parents will not be reprised in the new season.
Fan favourite character, Amita Sharma, Anita’s outspoken sister, returns in What The Folks Season 4. Actress Anula Navlekar returns to reprise her role from the previous seasons. This season will centre on Amita’s marriage to a new entrant character. Actor Ravjeet Singh plays her love interest in What The Folks Season 4.
Dice Media has premiered several of its shows on other streaming platforms. Crushed premiered on Prime Video’s Amazon MiniTV. Little Things has made Netflix its home. No such thing with What The Folks though. What The Folks Season 4 will premiere on Dice Media’s YouTube channel, as always. The series streams its finale season on 22nd January.
