As per media reports, there will soon be a documentary film on controversial billionaire Elon Musk. Jigsaw Productions will be producing the film and other production houses like Closer Media, Anonymous Content and Double Agent will be associated with the project.
Academy Award winning filmmaker Alex Gibney is said to be leading the project. He has made great name in the film industry by wonderful documentary films. He has proved the quality of his filmmaking style with Enron: The Smartest Guys In The Room, Going Clear: Scientology And The Prison Of Belief and Steve Jobs: Man In The Machine. He got his Oscar for Taxi To The Dark Side.
Though the director and the makers have confirmed that the film will be a completely ‘definitive and unvarnished examination of the billionaire’, there are still some doubts in the minds of people. Elon Musk is known to people to be kind of a dictatorial capitalist who buys off Twitter to use it for his own behalf, so it is hard to believe that he will let someone tell his story unfiltered.
But there are a lot more dimensions to his character that we know. To many people, he is a visionary, to some he is a genius who is constantly working to save the planet. The documentary will try to capture everything we need to know about Musk.
Many documentaries have been made on Musk. Elon Musk’s Crash Course, Return To Space, Elon Musk: The Real Life Iron Man are some examples. But it is the first time such a huge name like Gibney is devoting his time to make a documentary on him. It will surely be a huge thing.
The film will be something more than a mere biopic. It will probably tell the stories of the struggle days of Elon. It may tell the unknown stories and problems that he faced even after being the richest man in the world.
