ZEE5 today revealed its March streaming calendar at an event it held in Mumbai in the presence of celebrities and actors who headline its upcoming shows. ZEE5 also released a 4-minute long video on its social media handles, which outlines the content to arrive on the platform in March.
The ZEE5 content lineup for March is marked by its diversity and exclusivity. There is something for everyone – spy and action dramas, family drama and ample regional fare to suit the palates of diverse tastes. ZEE5’s take on motherhood, in a series called Mentalhood, is headlined by Karisma Kapoor, along with Shruti Seth, Shilpa Shukla, Tillotama Shome, Sandhya Mridul, Dino Morea and Sanjay Suri in vital roles.
Action junkies can get their dose of action thrillers with the two series that showcase the courage of our commandos and the police force. Operation Parindey, on the biggest jailbreak and police chase in India, and State of Siege 26/11, on the Mumbai terrorist attacks and the response of the elite NSG commandos – both are replete with gripping action sequences.
Amit Sadh and Rahul Dev star in the former, while Arjun Bajwa, Arjun Bijlani and Vivek Dahiya star in the latter.
Regional is represented by the Bengali series, Kaali Season 2, and the well-loved Telugu comedy show, Amrutham 2.0. ZEE5 Tamil premieres a new show called Endrendrum Punnagai, about an older hard-nosed businessman and a younger 20-something woman.
There are also several movies making their way to the platform. Marathi movie Hamlet; Malayalam movies Prathi Poovan Kozhi and Ente Peru Surya Enpe Veedu India; Telugu movie Raja Narasimha; and Tamil movies Onaaigal Jakkiradhai, Vidhi Madhi Ultaa and Thangaratham will premiere on the platform.
