Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set for his debut film ‘Nadaaniyan’ on Netflix alongside Khushi Kapoor but despite just a week left for its premiere on 7th March, promotions haven’t kicked in for this star kid film.
After an initial date announcement and romantic song launch, Netflix India and Dharmatic Entertainment have gone silent about ‘Nadaaniyan’. By this time the audience should have had at least got a teaser let alone trailer for the film.
Last we saw something similar happening with Junaid Khan’s debut film ‘Maharaj’,also on Netflix, but at that time the film was caught up in some legal issues which held up the promotions and later premiere.
This doesn’t seem to be the case for ‘Nadaaniyan’ which happens to be a modern day love story. So what could be the matter for no buzz building campaign for Khan’s launch?
As always the makers might come up with some or the other technical issues which seem to be the most plausible getaway for them for any such delays.
Anyways, it will be interesting to see how Ibrahim does on his debut, will he get the praise or not so much.
Directed by Shauna Gautam and starring Ibrahim Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj, ‘Nadaaniyan’ follows an adorable rich girl Pia who hires a career focused new student Arjun to pretend to be her boyfriend when a misunderstanding turns her friends against her. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the Dharmatic Entertainment banner, ‘Nadaaniyan’ will land only on Netflix on 7th March, 2025.
