Korean dramas have become synonymous with compelling storylines and intriguing characters, be they romantic sagas or action thrillers. One such K-drama that has created a lot of buzz amongst fans of Korean shows is the crime thriller series ‘Big Mouth‘.
Korean noir ‘Big Mouth’ premiered on South Korean TV today. Indian viewers are definitely keen to know when and where the thriller series ‘Big Mouth’ will stream in India. Well, we’re glad to inform you that Disney Plus has bought streaming rights for ‘Big Mouth’ for all the regions that it operates in. This means that Big Mouth will stream in India on Disney Plus Hotstar. That is not all. Fans will be happy to know that Big Mouth Episode 1 has already begun streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar this evening. Episode 1 of Big Mouth is one hour long, and is only available to stream in the original Korean language, with English subtitles.
The interesting thing about ‘Big Mouth’ is that it is a noir and crime thriller. For those who don’t know, noir is a very specific and well-liked genre among cinema and content buffs. After a long time, K-drama fans will get to watch a good noir crime thriller, following a spate of romantic dramas, rom-coms, political thrillers, zombie sagas and period dramas on various OTT platforms.
Big Mouth marks the return to TV of popular Korean star Lee Jong-suk (I Can Hear Your Voice, Doctor Stranger, While You Were Sleeping, The Hymn of Death), after a three-year hiatus. The series also stars Im Yoon-ah and Kim Joo-hun in pivotal roles. Lee Jong-suk plays a down-and-out lawyer who gets embroiled in a murder and a massive political conspiracy, and must use all his resources to get out of the trouble.
