Nee Brothers’ latest directorial venture – the action-adventure movie ‘The Lost City’ had opened in American theatres alongside S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ on 25th March followed by its Indian theatrical release two weeks later, on 8th April. The star-studded film features an ensemble cast that includes Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, and Brad Pitt, amongst others.
For those of you who could not watch the movie in India for any reason, you will soon be able to stream it on an Indian OTT platform. ‘The Lost City’ will start streaming on BookMyShow Stream from 25th May onwards. Prospective viewers can either rent the film in English language with English subtitles for Rs.349/- or buy it for Rs.699/- on the BookMyShow platform.
The romantic action-comedy film ‘The Lost City’ revolves around the misadventures of a romance novelist (played by Sandra Bullock) and her book cover model (Channing Tatum) after a kidnapping attempt lands them in a jungle, akin to one of her novels.
The film has been helmed by director-duo Aaron Nee and Adam Nee, who had previously directed the 2015 film ‘Band of Robbers’, which was based on the adventures of Tom Sawyer.
‘The Lost City’ has proved to be an impressive box-office success besides garnering mostly positive reviews by critics and audiences alike. The film has grossed over $170 million at the box office globally. It currently holds an impressive critics score of 79% on reviews aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. While the audience score is even higher at 83%.
