Binged has pointed out several times that OTT platforms very conveniently ignore Kannada content. Thankfully, Voot Select has been single-handedly contributing to Kannada films/series.
After Humble Politiciann Nograj, Voot Select is bringing another Kannada original. However, this one is a series instead of a film.
It looks very promising as it calls out the never-ending debate between ideology and reality. Being principled sounds good but many people fail to adapt to them in their own life.
This is a similar story of a couple Nitya and Vikram. The girl is too bright academically and the boy holds a super strong opinion on politics and ideologies.
They feel a strong attraction towards each other but ultimately realise that they are with a person of polar opposite ideology. Nitya was bragging about rights, equality and all solely for marks in college. She wanted a comfortable life for herself instead of getting involved in something troublesome.
On the other hand, Vikram is true to his words and his ideologies are dearer than his life to him.
The film is KS Nandeesh and stars Satish Ninasam, Shraddha Srinath and Vashishtha N. Simha in titular roles.
According to IMDb, the film will drop on Voot Select on June 30th. It means that there isn’t much time left before fans of Kannada content are treated with an original film.
