Where To Stream The Emmy 2022 Winners On Indian OTT

With the Emmys honoring the best of television, the night is one of the most celebrated award ceremonies in Hollywood. With many gifted artists awarded and their work recognized, here is a look at all the shows that won it big this year and where to stream them.

Squid Game- Netflix

Squid Game is a South Korean survival drama television series created for Netflix. The critically acclaimed hit has raked in many awards this season, including creator and director Hwang Dong-hyuk winning the Emmy for Directing for a Drama Series and Lee Jung-Jae winning Best Actor in a Drama Series.

Ozark- Netflix

Ozark is an American crime drama that stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. It is the story of a married couple who move their family to the Lake of the Ozarks for money laundering. Julia Garner won the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her brilliant portrayal of Ruth Langmore.

Euphoria- HBO Max

Euphoria follows a group of high school students’ struggle with drugs, love, social media, and money as they come of age while trying to establish their identity. Zendaya won the Best Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Rue Bennett.

Ted Lasso- Apple TV 

An American football coach (Jason Sudeikis) is hired to manage a British soccer team; what he lacks in knowledge, he makes up for in optimism, determination, and biscuits. ‘Ted Lasso’ scooped the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series and Best Actor Comedy at the Emmys. Director MJ Delaney won Emmy for Directing for a Comedy Series.

Succession- Disney+ Hotstar

‘Succession’ is an American satirical black comedy-drama television series created by Jesse Armstrong. Power, politics, and money… it’s all in the family in this award-winning, provocative, funny series about a highly dysfunctional dynasty. Succession won Emmys for the Best Drama Series.

The White Lotus- Disney+ Hotstar

Dark secrets and twisted truths of the guests, the staff, and the locale of a resort are unveiled over the course of a week that was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. The series won The Emmys for the Best Limited or Anthology Series. HBO had announced Season 2 just before airing the first season’s finale.

The Dropout- Disney+ Hotstar

The story of Elizabeth Holmes, the enigmatic Stanford dropout who founded medical testing start-up Theranos. Lauded as a Steve Jobs for the next tech generation and once worth billions of dollars, the myth crumbled when it was revealed that none of the techs actually worked, putting thousands of people’s health in grave danger. Amanda Seyfried Wins Best Actress in a Limited Series at the Emmys.

Dopesick– Disney+ Hotstar

The series takes viewers to the epicenter of America’s struggle with opioid addiction, from the boardrooms of Purdue Pharma to a distressed Virginia mining community, to the hallways of the DEA. Michael Keaton took home the Emmy for Best Actor in a Limited Anthology Series at the 74th Television Academy Awards, for his role.

Abbott Elementary- Disney+ Hotstar

A group of dedicated, passionate teachers and a slightly tone-deaf principal find themselves thrown together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life. Sheryl Lee Ralph won Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in the comedy.

The Beatles: Get Back – Disney+ Hotstar

The Peter Jackson directorial and production is the Winner of Outstanding documentary or nonfiction series. It is a Documentary about the music group The Beatles featuring in-studio footage that was shot in early 1969 for the 1970 feature film ‘Let It Be’.
