The makers have finally revealed the trailer of Kalki 2898 AD. The movie is set in a distant dystopian future and takes its inspiration from the Sanatan prophecy when Lord Vishnu’s 10th and final Avatar the name of Kalki will arrive to end the Kali Yuga and restore goodness and Dharma among people.
The chaotic storyline and the same old VFX dominated throughout the trailer. However, Prabhas fans are not particularly happy with the series. Why?
Because there are some very believable analyses saying that Prabhas is not playing the lead role in the film. See, Prabhas is playing Bhairava, who is supposed to protect Kalki. Deepika Padukone is shown pregnant and the boy she is carrying in her womb will be the saviour. So, some other actor might end up playing Kalki and it is definitely not Prabhas.
So, some Prabhas fans are unhappy because they want their “Rebel Star” to play Kalki’s character instead of his bodyguard. But, who knows…we might never see the character of Kalki on the screens.
