Although not completely, Netflix India has an ample content in a variety of genres and some of them are really good. However, in the case of their latest series, ‘Kohrra,’ it seems that the streaming giant missed the mark when it came to promoting this series.
Set in the vibrant state of Punjab, ‘Kohrra’ boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Suvinder Singh, Barun Sobti, Harleen Sethi, Manish Chaudhari, Varun Badola, and Rachel Shelly. The series, produced by Anushka Sharma’s Clean Slate Films, has already gained attention for its talented lineup and intriguing premise.
Barun Sobti was recently seen in the blockbuster series Asur 2 which was an insanely successful show despite mixed reactions.
Clean Slate Films, known for their previous Netflix hits like ‘Qala’ and ‘Bulbbul,’ has consistently delivered exceptional content that has resonated with viewers. Therefore, expectations were high for ‘Kohrra’ to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors. However, to the disappointment of many, Netflix India seemed to have abandoned the series in terms of promotion.
In an era where effective marketing campaigns can make or break a show’s success, it is puzzling to witness the lack of visibility for ‘Kohrra.’ With the absence of noticeable promotional efforts, it is as if the series was left to fend for itself in the vast sea of content available on the platform.
This oversight is disheartening, as it deprives viewers of the opportunity to discover and appreciate the talents of the cast and crew involved in ‘Kohrra.’
