The official trailer of the upcoming Tamil movie ‘Jolly O Gymkhana’ has been released by Zee Music South on their YouTube channel. The movie will feature Prabhu Deva as the main lead along with Madonna Sebastian, Abirami, Yogi Babu, and M S Basker in supporting roles respectively.
The movie ‘Jolly O Gymkhana’ is expected to be a slapstick comedy-drama with no surprises or engaging factors induced in the audience. The trailer itself seems amateurish and dull and performances are hoped weak to the core. The story idea of one dead body with four ladies is an interesting factor but the paraphernalia utilized is to be below average.
The flick is written and directed by Shakti Chidambaram and has a filmography of average to mixed level of acclaimed content and this one seems to be its extreme variant. The technical areas like cinematography by Ganesh Chandra, and editing by Ramar R along with Niranjan Antony are marginal in grade and not subtle. Music by Aswin Vinayagamoorthy is compelling laziness and not able to lift the sequences. The movie has a close reference to the 1999 Malayalam movie named ‘Chandamaama’.
The movie seems to showcase the female actors’ performances where the acting is not convincing and the dialogues are too way artificial. Actor Prabhu Deva has nothing to do in the film, which may be substituted with gracing dance moves which can be the only watchable factor. Actors like Yogi Babu are presumed to be average in performance and have nothing much to showcase. However, there might be a little but not jaw-dropping surprise element which is hope.
