Streaming giant SonyLIV is known for many things. Apart from Shark Tank India and great shows one thing they are famous for is bugs. Another big thing people are constantly pointing out for quite some time is the way they display ads.
Because people can tolerate ads but not badly put ads. By badly put ads we mean annoying ads. One excellent example of ads can be found on Spotify. Despite being the most popular music streaming platform, their ad policy is the least bothering. When they are displaying ads, they are displaying ads. But when they are not displaying ads then there is absolutely nothing to disrupt your streaming service.
On the other hand, SonyLIV’s ad strategy is extremely poor. Users face them as soon as they open the app or even they are watching something.
A user reported that SonyLIV pushed 4 ads before starting Shark Tank India. Numerous such complaints boil down to the same question.
What’s wrong with the ad policy of SonyLIV?
The answer to it is very simple, it is just that SonyLIV needs to recognize the need for a change. It is only then that SonyLIV would improve its user experience. Because right now they are just going the wrong way.
@SonyLIV sharktank India 2 main ad toda jayada nahi ho gaya😭.

@SonyLIV
Please have a look at your Android Tv app advertising mechanism. Sometimes it won't let me watch for 5 mins straight and ad comes again.— D D Solanki (@DDSolankee) January 9, 2023
@SonyLIV Please introduce 'Not interested' feature where when some program popusp for me, I can chose to select 'Not interested' so that it doesnt come again. Whenever I login, I keep getting these which is little annoying. Please look at this seriously.
