A few days ago, there were reports that director Sukumar is considering having Telugu hero Tarun dub for Fahadh Fasil’s character in Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. But there are new reports that Fahadh Faasil did not like the idea and wants to dub himself as he wants to give his best for his maiden Telugu film.
“Tarun’s dubbing for Fahadh’s character in Anukoni Athidhi, a dubbing film impressed everyone. So, he was the first choice of Sukumar. But Fahadh wants to do it himself. He wants to impress the Telugu audience and cement his place in Tollywood – one of the biggest film industries in the country,” a source in the team told us.
Fahadh is utilizing the lockdown time to master his Telugu. Fahadh is learning the nuances of the Chittoor dialect. Sukumar will have a sample test after the Lockdown. If it comes out well, Fahadh will dub for the film. If not, Tarun will be brought back.
Pushpa is a village drama with a smuggling backdrop. It will be made in two parts. The first part will be out later this year and the second one sometime early next year. Buzz is that the first part will release on October 13th as Dussehra Special if RRR gets postponed.
