Nani’s upcoming pan India action drama film ‘Dasara’ has now finalised its release date. Helmed by Srikanth Odela, ‘Dasara’ is scheduled to release worldwide in cinemas in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on 30th March, 2023.
‘Dasara’ release date was revealed along with a new poster for the film that has Nani sitting in front of a woman’s portrait sketch. With a glass bottle in one hand, Nani can be seen in a rugged look. One unavoidable thing to note in his look is the character’s resemblance to Allu Arjun’s Pushparaj from ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
Nani, who has had a difficult run with his films for the past couple of years, believes that ‘Dasara’ will be remembered for a long time. He was very disappointed but did not have much choice when his films ‘V’ and ‘Tuck Jagadish’ were released on OTT, but even his post pandemic theatrical releases like ’Shyam Singha Roy’ and ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ could not impress much.
Although with ‘Dasara’ the hopes are higher, not just for his fans but also for himself. Written and directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, ‘Dasara’ stars Nani and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles.
The film also stars Samuthirakani, Shamna Kasim, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad and Roshan Mathew among others. Sathyan Sooryan has handled cinematography for ‘Dasara’ with editing and music from Naveen Nooli and Santhosh Narayanan respectively.
Releasing on 30th March, 2023 worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, it will be interesting to see if ‘Dasara’ will be that much awaited breakthrough for Nani.
