Because there is no big release from the Bengali industry this Diwali, Hoichoi chose to surprise us with a bunch of series, some that came after taking a nostalgic trip, like Feluda, Bhaduri Moshai and Eken Babu.
And, some who are trying to establish the second season, in between all these hoichoi tried to include a new series “Bishohori”.
But, will it provide a good authentic storyline ?
The series revolves around a newly weeded bride who embarks on a journey to uproot deeply woven family secrets, during their family’s Nagpanchami festival.
But, don’t you think that the plot weirdly sounds similar to another series which came back with its another season “Indu”.
After the wedding day, a series of events starts to take place, and Indu deciphers them all revealing the family secret.
So, what is new there in “Bishohori” ?
Well the director Srijit Roy and Souvik Chakraborty, said that it will be a supernatural mystery, and Solanki Roy will play the leading role.
Somehow, it feels like this new series is made out of the same mould in which “Indu” was created.
Furthermore, the plotline this series chooses has nothing new in it, if we take example of the series “Shwetkali”, then again, the same thing one by one mysterious things started happening surrounding the kali murti, and in the end a humongous family secret is being exposed.
So, with all fairness “Bishohori”, might be a new take for Hoichoi, but this is absolutely not an authentic one.
