If we had to pick one web series everyone in India is waiting most eagerly for, it definitely has to be Mirzapur Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video. While the release date (23rd October) is out, the viewers are desperately waiting to get the first insight of the series, yeah we are taking about the trailer.
Amazon Prime Video India is teasing the audience with all sorts of things to reveal the trailer date. It recently shared a photo on their YouTube channel and asked people to guess who’s in the image, and if guessed right they would reveal the trailer date for the second season of Mirzapur.
While one of the figures i.e. Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu Sharma) seems obvious, the other is hard to guess. Well, a look into the comments section goes to explain that people are more interested in the trailer than responsding to such cheap thrills by Amazon Prime.
While earlier Prime Video used a different tactic to release the trailer for Nani’s V, this time again it has taken up on a new experiment. Apparently, all these efforts are probably going to fall flat like they did before. Because ultimately very few are game for such trivial things like trailer release date.
Amazon Prime Video might think that it is engaging its viewers and keeping them on hooks, but they are walking on a thin rope here. It’s all in the content that keeps the audience going and that’s the very reason they return to the platform looking for more.
Let’s see how this new experiment turns out for Amazon Prime while we still wait for them to reveal the trailer date and eventually the trailer for the most anticipated series, Mirzapur Season 2.
