The fourth season of “The Witcher” won’t just be facing demons, monsters, and magic; it will also mark the beginning of Liam Hemsworth’s era with some major hurdles. The end of Henry Cavill’s era was controversial, as fans loved him more than anything, and Liam is now facing significant backlash as a result.
You can’t really blame Liam; it was never his fault. However, the amount of hate the show is receiving is overwhelming.
Yesterday, fans had the opportunity to see the first look of Geralt of Rivia, as Netflix released it. Unfortunately, it isn’t getting the kindest reviews.
As soon as the announcement was made, backlash was expected, but the extent of it was only speculated. Now, it’s clear that Liam will have a very tough time ahead of the show’s premiere. Sometimes, fans can be really cruel.
It can’t be ignored that Cavill was a fan favorite, but the treatment Liam Hemsworth is receiving is a bit harsh, especially considering he’s not a bad actor. Since the show is ending in a couple of seasons, fans have already lost hope in it.
Following the announcement of the show’s cancellation, viewership started to decline significantly. In addition to the negative reception of the first look, the show is also gaining a reputation for bad writing, and fans are becoming more aware of this issue.

I feel a bit sorry for Liam here. Henry Cavill is Geralt – just perfect for the role. Replacing him ruins the immersion, no matter how Hemsworth does… hope he smashes it though

Ah good stuff now get him off screen so you can focus on the strong female characters and subvert our expectations 😂
No Henry, no show 🤷 pic.twitter.com/4xjsILK0bR

If the writers are the same, then no interest

The problem with your show is the writing, not Henry Cavill. You should've fired your writers instead.

Was your writing room replaced too? Because that's the only way I will watch this show again.
