Will Ludo Wipe Off All Of Netflix’s Previous Indian Misses?

Netflix has been one of the busiest platforms over the globe in this pandemic and is continuously releasing shows and movies. In India, Netflix hasn’t had a good track record when it comes to native content, with several of its movies and shows getting mediocre reviews and feedback from the critics and audiences respectively.
The short success Netflix India garnered this year was with Gunjan Saxena and Serious Men both of which had a good run for a period of time.

But then again with the recently released Miss India starring Keerthy Suresh and Jagapathi Babu getting below average to poor reviews, and the audience also seemingly has given the movie a thumbs down, one can only feel for Netflix India.

With all the drawbacks in their mind, Netflix has set all the hopes on their upcoming anthology themed multistarrer film Ludo. And one might feel that the dependence on Ludo is guaranteed. Because the star cast of the film is so enticing that one can only pray that if the movie even turns out decent, then also it will do wonders.

Talking about the star cast, Ludo features:-

Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rohit Saraf, and others.

Another reason to be excited about Ludo is that it is being helmed by Anurag Basu who is known for his works like Life in a Metro and Barfi, he also is one of the best storytellers there.

If you still aren’t familiar with Ludo, then let us tell you. From the trailer, it looks like a madcap entertainer, with each individual story featuring hilarious sequences. Unknown of each other’s existence, Ludo will showcase how all of their stories intersect with each other in a dramatic but intense finale like the game.

Netflix will be keen on cashing in the brilliance of all the entertainers, associated with the film to get themselves going in the ever tough market of Bollywood.

Ludo arrives on Netflix on 12th November 2020.
