We all know that multiple Marvel shows like Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, The Defenders, and many more left the world’s biggest streaming platform, Netflix, at the start of this year. Since then, rumours regarding their arrival on Disney+ have flooded the internet. Now, it is officially happening. Disney+ Canada has confirmed that all the mentioned Marvel shows will hit the streaming next month. However, some countries still have to wait to get this piece of good news. So, the most important question for all the Indian Marvel fans is this, ‘Will these shows move to Disney+ Hotstar?’
Well, the chances of their arrival to the most prominent streaming platform in India are pretty good. You should know that they are not yet available on Disney+ in the USA. A prominent American entertainment platform, MobileSyrup, has disclosed that American viewers have to wait a bit more to watch all these Marvel entries on their Disney+ accounts. This scenario indicates that Indian viewers will earn a chance to enjoy these shows on Hotstar in future.
It doesn’t mean that all the characters from these shows will make their MCU debut. Yes, Charlie Cox has done it with the help of Spider-Man No Way Home. And we witnessed Vincent D’Onofrio on the Disney+ Hawkeye series in December last year. But we can’t say the same for the rest of the characters.
Marvel has already planned a lot of shows for Disney Plus. Secret Invasion and Ms Marvel are ready to entertain the MCU fanbase this year. Additionally, shows like Agatha: House of Harkness, Armor Wars, Ironheart, and She-Hulk may premiere in 2023 on the streaming service.
It seems like the Indian viewers will have an amazing time watching their favourite Netflix Marvel shows on Disney+ Hotstar. Will they get their Hindi dubbed versions? We believe it is too soon to say anything about this scenario.
