Netflix has announced a new mystery thriller series today with an ensemble cast led by Parineeti Chopra who’s making her TV series debut with this project.
The announcement for the yet to be titled Netflix series was made today on social media unveiling the cast and crew. Penned and helmed by Rensil D’Silva (‘Kurbaan’, ‘Ungli’, ‘Dial 100’), the show is produced by Siddharth P Malhotra and Sapna Malhotra.
The ensemble cast for the touted gripping series features Parineeti Chopra, Soni Razdan, Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anup Soni, Sumeet Vyas and Chaitanya Choudhary.
This latest series will be Parineeti Chopra’s fourth collaboration with Netflix after two feature films ‘The Girl On The Train’ and ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ and an upcoming untitled romantic comedy film directed by Dhruv Tripathi.
Among the two already released films, the former was a total flop, while the latter won massive acclaim upon its release on Netflix last year.
Except for ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ and ‘Uunchai’, Parineeti Chopra has been having a series of flops in the past couple of years. Her last theatrical hit was the 2019 film ‘Kesari’. Also, it will be interesting to see her in a solid lead role instead of being the wife/lover of the male protagonist.
Whether or not this latest Netflix project turns out to be a success for Parineeti and others is a matter of time but definitely the anticipations remain high.
