Despite having two major faces from Bollywood, why “Quotation Gang Part 1” is not getting enough space in North Indian theatres is a big question to ask.
With the growing success of South Indian films, audiences have witnessed a bold and creative take in this field.
These movies have a bold storyline and an unique approach to their art, which right now the audience is carving, and “Quotation Gang Part 1” has this exact bold and unique take on its storyline, with a female lead character who as a serial killer
With movies like “Aavesham” , “Kantara” , “Pushpa” audiences saw the movie in its own language just to get immersed in the world of that particular movie.
As well as with movies like “Jawan” we can see Bollywood collaborating with the South Indian industry.
But, then why “Quotation Gang Part 1” got only one show in Mumbai and no shows in Delhi and that’s not only that most of the North Indian theatres aren’t open to this Tamil and Telugu version of the movie?
Withholding this Tamil and Telugu version just to prioritise the Hindi version of the movie could be a very risky take for the makers.
Holding back this movie without a proper release date of the Hindi version, could leave fans frustrated and with the help of internet and streaming platforms it is very easy to get a hold on the movie in its original language.
But the worst case scenario which can be a bummer for the makers is audiences using illegal ways to catch up with the movie.
Having two two prominent faces from Bollywood which is Jackie Shroff and Sunny Leone, and promising that it’ll have a Hindi dub but till this date no official statement regarding that, the makers are digging their own grave.
