The official teaser of an upcoming Malayalam movie has been announced on the YouTube platform. The flick is named to be ‘Katha Innuvare’ and is distributed by Saregama Malayalam.
‘Katha Innuvare’ (Eng. Story till now) is expected to be a feel-good family romantic drama that will talk about human bondage and conflict in an emotional or satirical way. The movie is written and directed by the national award winner Vishnu Mohan for his debut direction of the movie named ‘Meppadiyan’ (2022). The flick is produced by Krishnamoorthy, Jomon T John Shameer Muhammed, and the director himself for Plan J Cinemas, Imagin Cinemas, and PHF Productions. Also, the Co-producers include Harris Desom and P B Anish respectively.
The cinematography is handled by Jomon T John ISC and editing is done by Shameer Muhammed with the music composed by debutant Ashwin Aryan. The technical departments are expected and at the same time excited as the people behind the camera and editing are shining due to their feat in the recently released ‘A.R.M’ and what change can they bring in this comparatively smaller scale flick. The music is not explored much in the teaser but the scope of its storyline demands it so.
The movie consists of an ensemble cast featuring actor Biju Menon, who is the main lead, and includes supporting characters of actors Methil Devika, Hakim Shajahan, Anu Mohan, Anusree, Nikhila Vimal, Siddique, and Renji Panicker respectively. The recent filmography of actor Biju Menon like ‘Shilalikhitam’ (Manorathangal), ‘Nadanna Sambhavam’, ‘Thundu’, and ‘Thalavan’ has received high critical acclaim due to his versatile performance. However, when taking his whole filmography, there are several feel-good movies that he has performed flawlessly and this movie should be able to challenge the previous ones.
Other actors are expected to perform their best. Actors Hakim Shajahan and Methil Devika are expected to give something special. This is the latter’s debut film who is also a well-known classical dancer. The movie is expected to release on 20th September, which is the National Film Day.
