We are sure that you remember the finale of The Mandalorian Season 2. The final episode received universal praise for its action, musical score, and emotional farewells. But there was one moment that melted the hearts of every diehard Star Wars fan.
Yes, we are talking about Luke Skywalker’s return! The leading protagonist of the original SW trilogy came to the rescue of The Mandalorian (Din Djarin) and Baby Yoda (Grogu) in the final moments of the sophomore instalment. He took Grogu with him to teach the latter the ways of the force.
But ever since Luke’s appearance in the second season’s finale, fans are desperate to find the answer to this question. Will Luke appear in The Book of Boba Fett series? Let’s find out!
The leading man, Temuera Morrison, recently dodged the multi-dollar question like a pro in his interview with TVLine:
“Who are we talking about? Who is that guy [Luke Skywalker]? This is The Book of Boba we’re talking about here,” Morrison elucidate to TVLine. “Who’s that other guy mentioned? Isn’t he in those other big movies? This is The Book of Boba, okay?”
But Morrison’s previous talks on The Hollywood Reporter suggested something else to the viewers. He teased the fans by telling them to “wait till episode 7. Wow!”
The premiere episode was more like a throwback to the aftermath of Boba falling into the Sarlacc in Return of the Jedi (1983). He barely saved his skin from getting deteriorated by Sarlacc’s acid. Soon, he meets Tuskens and learns their ways. But the next entry showed the live-action debut of Black Krrsantan, a lethal Wookie bounty hunter. And one of the helmers of the series, Robert Rodriguez, has teased that more surprise villains will pop up as the show progresses. It seems like the much anticipated Luke Skywalker’s return is being kept under wraps for now. Let’s see what happens!
The Book of Boba Fett series is currently airing on Disney+ Hotstar. It stars Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand.
