The month of November has just begun, and the first half has some exciting movie titles for OTT audiences that are all geared up for their streaming dates. The list includes Suriya starrer legal drama ‘Jai Bhim’, long-distance relationship drama ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’, and ‘MGR Magan’, amongst other films. So, we thought of doing a comparative analysis for some of the most anticipated Indian movies, that are expected to release on OTT platforms during November’s first half.
But how do we precisely quantify the anticipation around a film just before its release? One way is to observe the total number of views for the film’s official trailer recently released on YouTube. Another parameter can also be the number of likes (or dislikes) for the film’s trailer.
But since we can consider just one, we have taken into account the total number of trailer views (at the time of writing the article) for films, to compile a list of the top five most anticipated Indian OTT movies slated to release during November first half.
These film trailers might have been released at different points in time, and we have used total trailer views to ascertain the film’s current buzz. And in case there were two trailers of the same film, we have considered the more recent one uploaded by one platform, for all titles, for the sake of simplicity. So, that might have affected the actual anticipation factor around the film’s release.

So, as you can observe from the above data, and unsurprisingly, Suriya’s highly anticipated film ‘Jai Bhim’ has topped the list as per trailer views and that too by a significant margin.
While the second most anticipated Indian film is the Netflix marital drama ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’. On the other hand, platform-wise, Amazon Prime Video leads in this parameter as the most anticipated title ‘Jai Bhim’ will stream on this OTT platform.
