Israel’s ‘Yes Studios’ have greenlit a new thriller series. It will have eight parts and star the rising actor and singer Noa Kirel. Noa Kirel finished with third position in the prestigious Eurovision singing competition last year.
People are excited for the show as it comes from Yes Studios, a company that is known for wonderful storytelling in projects like Fauda and Shtisel.
‘Wonder’ will be a futuristic show with eight episodes that will tell the story of a teenage girl named Noya who gets killed in a sudden car crash. His father Avner and his best friend Daria do not believe that it is a regular car crash and they investigate the case on their own. Daria is a social media personality and she has huge reach in the world of virtual reality and social media. With the help of Daria, Avner finds out that his daughter was involved in a virtual game that had some strange consequences. The investigation reveals secrets about Noya that Avner never thought of.
The show will be coming out in the second half of 2024 and it will be streamed on YesTV in Israel. The international distribution will be in association with Paramount’s Ananey Studios. In India, the show might be available to stream on JioCinema.
