‘Lost’ is touted as a gripping investigative thriller that depicts a search for lost values of empathy and integrity. An ‘inspired by true events’ story, ‘Lost’ follows an enthusiastic young crime reporter and most importantly her relentless search for the truth behind the sudden disappearance of a theatre activist.
Earlier in the month of October in a Twitter chat session with fans and well-wishers, Yami Gautam had revealed that although Lost is eyeing for a theatrical release, the dynamics of streaming has changed and she would stand by her producers and their decision. It seems like the producers have finally zeroed in on a direct OTT release.
Directed by Pink fame Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Lost’s story is written by Shyamal Sengupta and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. The screenplay is penned by Shyamal Sengupta. Avik Mukhopadhyay is the Director of Photography. The music is composed by Shantanu Moitra, and the lyrics are penned by Swanand Kirkire.
Lost boasts of a power-packed cast besides Yami Gautam, including Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpai, and Tushar Pandey, in prominent roles. Quite understandably ‘Lost’ premieres directly on Zee5 as it is bankrolled by Zee Studios. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the release of Lost.
