The teaser for Samantha’s ‘Yashoda’ is here and it’s as thrilling as it gets. Helmed by director duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan, ‘Yashoda’ will release soon in theatres. The film was slated for release in cinemas on 12th August, 2022 but got postponed due to undisclosed reasons.
‘Yashoda’ teaser is quite interesting and will make you watch out for the film. It begins with Samantha, who plays the titular role, meeting with a gynaecologist who informs her about her pregnancy and guides her about what to do and what not to do.
As the doctor starts enlisting the precautions, a chain of events start to flash which are all contradictory to what she tells Yashoda. For example when the doctor tells her to have a good sleep, she can be seen waking in unknown locations and fainting often.
While she needs to walk carefully, she can be seen running for her life in a forest. She needs to stay away from lifting weights but ends up tied to a weight rod which she had to lift. Also, she needs to prevent slipping but can be seen in fights where she lands against the floor and walls multiple times. Also, she is told to be happy and not tensed, it’s only fear and tension that she feels.
‘Yashoda’ seems to get trapped in a maze of sort where she might be a part of some weird experiments and can’t find any escape. The teaser is pretty exciting and intriguing and keeps one on the edge throughout.
Starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the titular role, ‘Yashoda’ is a new age science fiction thriller film written and directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan. The film also stars Unni Mukundan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada and Priyanka Sharma among others.
‘Yashoda’ is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under his banner Sridevi Movies. M. Sukumar handles the cinematography while the film is edited by Marthand K. Venkatesh. Mani Sharma has given the music for the film. Apart from the original Telugu version, ‘Yashoda’ will also release in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
