Yeh Meri Family Season 2 will soon grace our screens, a whole five years after its debut season enthralled Indian viewers of every age and demographic.

As for the cast of Yeh Meri Family Season 2, actress Juhi Parmar will play mother in the new season. Actor Rajesh Kumar, who played Rosesh in the popular show Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, plays the father of the family. Hetal Gada and Angaad will play their two kids. This time around, a smart-ass grandmother will add to the fun in the daily shenanigans of the middle-class family at the heart of the show.
The new season of Yeh Meri Family will again be set in the backdrop of the nineties, just like the debut season. Going by a nondescript calendar hanging at the back wall in the first look of the series, Yeh Meri Family Season 2 will be set in the December of 1994. The new season will again be centred on a typical, relatable middle-class family, a new one this time, and their unique issues and challenges.
