The first trailer for the new season of Netflix‘s runaway hit, ‘You’ is out. And it’s downright creepy and scary. ‘You’ Season 3 comes around on October 15 on Netflix, making the almost one-month wait too long for comfort. The You Season 3 trailer launch has raised expectations even further for the new season of the show that centres on Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), the charming, baby-faced, stalker-murderer.
Joe and Love (Victoria Pedretti) are married, have a new baby, and relocate to the quiet, affluent suburb of Madre Linda. Joe promises to himself that things will be different this time, but he soon feels the familiar stirring of dangerous obsession creeping in – this time it’s his new neighbour, Natalie (Michaela McManus). And this time he’s not alone. He’s got with him the monster he married (his words, not ours!), and together, the two do away with a person or two.
The trailer shows Joe wrapping a body in black plastic, and Love helping him dig a grave for the poor, murdered soul. There are also visuals of blood and blood-stained knives aplenty, promising that You Season 3 will have copious amounts of gore, quite like the previous seasons. And oh, Baby Henry is adorable.
‘You’ is a thriller and action drama, featuring a psychotic serial killer who has the quirky trait of stalking the women he is in love with. He takes his obsession to another level altogether, even going on a spate of murders to hide his dangerous activities.
‘You’ Season 3 features Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti reprising their roles of Joe and Love. The cast also includes Saffron Burrows, Tati Gabrielle, Dylan Arnold, Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Scott Speedman, Michaela McManus, Shannon Chan-Kent, Ben Menhl, Chris O’Shea, and Christopher Sean.
