Marvel Studios’ latest animated entry, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, has arrived with a bang! The first two episodes are now available to stream on Disney+ (Disney+ Hotstar for Indian viewers). As a result, we have gathered some first reactions from critics on how they feel about the series.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man takes place in an alternate timeline and offers a unique twist to Peter Parker’s origin story. In this version, Norman Osborn becomes Peter’s mentor instead of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, as seen in the MCU (Earth-616).
Hudson Thames voices our beloved protagonist, reprising his role as Spider-Man from the What If…? animated series. The talented Colman Domingo lends his voice to Norman Osborn.
Other voice actors in the show include Eugene Byrd as Lonnie Lincoln, Grace Song as Nico Minoru, Zeno Robinson as Harry Osborn, Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius, Kari Wahlgren as May Parker, Paul F. Tompkins as Bentley Wittman, and more.
Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio also reprise their roles as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, and Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, in this series.
