The South Indian film industry has gone all out and revealed the dates of some of the most important movies out there and Bollywood is slowly but steadily coming up with its release dates too. The recent announcement in Bollywood was made by one of its major production houses, Yashraj Films. It didn’t just announce one or two movies but in fact, it went all out with the entire slate of the movie it is supposed to release by them this year.
Fans were wondering and hoping to see one movie in particular in that list, but sadly YRF didn’t include that. The movie is none other than Shahrukh Khan’s comeback movie “Pathan”. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in major roles and is directed by director Siddharth Anand. To be released by Yashraj Films, Pathan too will apparently hit the screens this year and fans can’t seem to keep their calm at all. The movie will see the return of Bollywood’s Badshah Shahrukh Khan, to the screen after almost 3 years. He last appeared in the movie “Zero” along with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
Pathan was not included in the list of the films that Yashraj Films recently announced and that has had fans wondering as to what has been going on with the movie and when will we get to know more about it. The recent mention of the movie was by none other than Salman Khan himself, while he was hosting the reality show Big Boss 14. As he mentioned “Pathan”, fans are convinced that he in fact is making a cameo in the film. This also comes in after reports of Salman Khan joining the team of Pathan in Dubai for the probable shoot of the climax of the film has come up.
So, what is actually up with Pathan? How long will it test its fans’ patience? Well we don’t have the answer to it yet but we are sure that the wait will be worth it. Reports are coming in that leaving out Pathan from the list of films to release by YRF was intentional, as it didn’t want to take the simple and traditional route for the announcement of such a huge movie, that is not only important for Shahrukh Khan but also for the fans and the production house itself.
The movie before it sees a teaser or poster release will most probably see the release of a video that might include a glimpse of the movie itself. The shoot for the video was supposed to be held back in 2020 itself but COVID-19 caused major delays. The announcement video itself is supposed to be loaded with action, this has been planned so that it can give people an idea of what more to expect from the movie. As of now, though we don’t have the date but we know that the announcement itself will be made with a bang.
With the hype that has been created around the name of “Pathan”, we can imagine how excited fans are for it. The hopes and interest for the movie will now only pique as Bollywood has started revealing the details of almost all the upcoming movies now.
