Maddock Films and Jio Studios have joined hands for the upcoming romantic comedy flick, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’. The social media handles of the two film production giants have just released the trailer for the upcoming film. ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ releases in theatres across India on 2nd June, 2023. Jio Studios and Maddock Films had announced the title of the film over the weekend, on the occasion of lead actor Vicky Kaushal’s birthday.
‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ is part of the lavish lineup of content announced by Jio Studios in a glittering event in April 2023. Now the first film from Jio Studios’ new revamped slate is making its way to the theatres. The film will stream on Jio Cinema post its theatrical run.
The film stars Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles. Going by the trailer of the film, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ seems to be nothing but old wine in a new bottle. The lead pair plays lovers who get married and begin their new life in the cramped midst of a joint family. Next we see them fighting like cats and dogs, and then filing for divorce.
However, we get ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ vibes from the next few sequences, with the lovebirds faking the fights and bid for divorce, to achieve another aim. Of course we’ll know better when the film lands in theatres.
‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ is directed by Laxman Utekar, who’s also made Luka Chuppi and Mimi. Besides Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan, the film stars Rakesh Bedi, Sharib Hashmi and Neeraj Sood, Inaamulhaq, Meghna Agarwal, among others.
