Zee Studios has dropped the trailer for its upcoming bilingual film ‘Vimanam’ and its one heartwarming tale of father‘s endless pursuit to make his son’s biggest dream of traveling in a flight come true. Helmed by Siva Prasad Yanala, ‘Vimanam’ will release in cinemas in Tamil and Telugu on 9th June, 2023.
‘Vimanam’ trailer begins with two auto rickshaw drivers talking about how Veerayya being late to work because of his morning schedule which involves his son first watching the plane take off, then dropping him off to school and talk to his teachers and then going to the temple.
It’s after this that the trailer unveils how Veerayya’s son is obsessed with airplanes and wishes to board a flight. To fulfill this very wish his poor, handicapped father tries to do everything he can to. From doing menial jobs to even selling his house he feels sad that he cannot do enough. He even ends being beaten by police. Seeing his father struggle so much, his son does not wish to board a flight but Veerayya tells him not to worry about it.
Written and directed by Siva Prasad Yanala, ‘Vimanam’ stars Samuthirakani, Master Dhruvan, Meera Jasmine, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rahul Ramakrishna, Dhanraj and Naan Kadavul Rajendran among others.
With music from Charan Arjun, ‘Vimanam’ has cinematography handled by Vivek Kalepu and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh. ‘Vimanam’ is produced by Kiran Korrapati and Zee Studios and will release in cinemas on 9th June, 2023 in Tamil and Telugu.
