Kaali Season 2 is slated to premiere on ZEE5 Bangla later this month, and prepping for it, ZEE5 has just dropped the first teaser of the series.
The 48-second teaser is hard-hitting and gripping. Disturbing sequences pile up the tension as Paoli Dam, playing a mother who is pushed and prodded until she has her back to the wall, unleashes all out war against her tormentors.
When it comes to her child’s safety, she thinks nothing of going on a carnage of killing to right the wrongs done to her.
Quick cuts show Paoli Dam in various avatars, but the one that sticks in the viewer’s mind is her all-out Kaali avatar. Kaali Season 2 certainly has a good thing going for it.
The ensemble cast of Kaali Season 2 is bigger and better than ever, with popular actors adding sheen to the cast. While the series will again be headlined by Paoli Dam and Rahul Banerjee, this season has actors Abhishek Banerjee, Vidya Malvade and Chandan Roy Sanyal adding heft to the show.
The series will be produced by Parambrata Chattopadhyay, who had also produced Season 1. The new season is to be directed by Aritra Sen.
