After the teaser launch on 20th May and nothing thereafter for almost two weeks, Zee5 has finally broken silence and released a new motion poster and trailer date for its upcoming edge-of-the-seat thriller ‘Forensic’.
With an ominous toned happy birthday song playing in the background, the latest motion poster of ‘Forensic’ shows a cleaver slicing through a cake and resulting in blood splash. The video also revealed that ‘Forensic’ trailer will be out on 9th June.

A remake of the 2020 Malayalam film of same name, Forensic’s digital premiere on Zee5 was announced a couple of months ago which was followed by no update until the teaser launch more than a month later. Followed by another gap of several days this new motion poster is the latest update on the film that skipped theatrical release.
When it comes to Instagram, Zee5 generally maintains a highlight section of the stories on its home page for the various titles upcoming or streaming on the platform. But surprisingly, there’s nothing as such for ‘Forensic’.
Moreover, it’s not just the platform but also the cast and crew that hasn’t been very active in promoting the film until now. While it might seem too early to start campaigning for the film right after its release announcement, dropping one off updates once in a month does not seem very wise either.
It leads to spiking viewer’s interest in a title and gradually loosing it altogether with nothing to follow up. With so much content out there and the short lived attention span of the audience these days it’s always better to have pre-planned and well spread out promotional strategy.
Given that there’s less than twenty days left for ‘Forensic’ digital release on Zee5 on 24th June, looks like the promotions for the film have kicked in, now that we have a trailer launch date. But the question is, will there be silence again post the trailer or do the makers have some kind of campaign plan in mind.

‘Forensic’ will premiere only on Zee5 on 24th June, 2022.
