Zee5 has today announced a new web series ‘Chhal Kapat – The Deception’ set to land soon on the platform. A crime thriller drama helmed by Ajay Bhuyan, ‘Chhal Kapat – The Deception’ is a Zee5 original produced by Juggernaut Productions.
The teaser launched for ‘Chhal Kapat – The Deception’ features Shriya Pilgaonkar as sharp-witted yet cynical SP Rathore who is investigating the death of an influencer. With nine solid suspects, will she be able to nab the culprit or get entangled in the web of lies and deception?
Directed by Ajay Bhuyan, Zee5’s ’Chhal Kapat – The Deception’ stars Shriya Pilgaokar, Kamya Ahlawat, Ragini Dwivedi, Tuhina Das, Yahhve Sharma, Pranay Pachauri, Smaran Sahu, Anuj Sachdeva and Keshav Lokwani among others.
Zee5 hasn’t has a great run recently and whatever little original content it has offered till now this year hasn’t found much connect with the audience, barring Sanya Malhotra led ‘Mrs.’ What happens with ‘Chhal Kapat – The Deception’ remains to be seen because the teaser doesn’t look very thrilling and infact fails to build any excitement whatsoever.
