ZEE5 Telugu has unveiled the first teaser and release date for its upcoming rom-com series, ‘Maa Neella Tank‘. The Telugu series will premiere on ZEE5 on July 15. ‘Maa Neella Tank’ is one of 11 titles announced by ZEE5 in its recently revealed Telugu slate. Another title from the slate, ‘Recce’, released on ZEE5 Telugu recently to good reviews.
‘Maa Neella Tank’ stars actor Sushanth, and will mark the OTT debut of the actor. Going by the first teaser of the series, it promises to be a fun, lighthearted watch. The series is set in the backdrop of a quiet village called Muchivolu. Chaos ensues in the village when Gopal (Sudharshan) climbs up the water tank and threatens to jump off, if he’s not united with the love of his life, Surekha (Priya Anand). The local police officer Vamshi (Sushanth) sets off in search of Surekha; but of course, falls for her instead! What follows is a laugh riot!
Maa Neella Tank is produced by Praveen Kolla, and directed by Lakshmi Sowjanya. It stars Sushanth, Priya Anand, Lavanya Reddy, Sudharshan, Prem Sagar, Ramaraj, Nirosha Ratha, Divi Vadtthya, Vasu, among others, in crucial roles.
