Well, now ZEE5 has dropped the first hint that Spider-Man: No Way Home will stream on its OTT platform in India. The news comes as a shocker to all those who were of the opinion that Spider-Man: No Way Home would stream on Netflix first, and then on Disney Plus Hotstar. Religious followers of Binged will know that Netflix has a deal with Sony Pictures wherein all Sony Pictures films will stream on Netflix first.
Since Spider-Man: No Way Home is a Sony Pictures – Marvel movie, most trade pundits assumed that the film would stream on Netflix and then Disney Plus Hotstar, the home of Marvel.
But looks like all deals in India play according to different tunes. Here, the merger of ZEE5 and Sony Pictures takes precedence over all else. Spider-Man: No Way Home will thus stream on ZEE5 in India, and very soon!
