It was in January that ZEE5 Telugu had announced that it has four exciting web projects in the works, which will be released on its platform in the first half of the year. Now, the first of those four, a web series called LOSER, is slated to arrive on ZEE5 Telugu.
The OTT platform dropped the first look poster of the upcoming series last night. The poster shows three sportspersons, all with grimly determined looks on their faces. One is an aspiring cricketer with his eye on the ball; another is a rifle shooter, kissing the medal around his neck; and the third is a hijaab-clad young badminton player, with a shuttlecock and racquet in her hand.
LOSER is a sports drama that focuses on the lives of three different people, across three different timelines, with a common thread – each has to fight off social, political and financial setbacks, to find their place under the sun in their chosen fields of endeavour. The ten-episode series will feature the stories of these three unique people.
The series has been produced by Annapurna Studios and directed by Abhilash Reddy. Priyadarshi, Sayaji Shinde, Shashank, Kalpika, are some of the actors that will feature in the three stories of LOSER.
