Zee5 drops their Telugu series Gaalivaaana today. Thankfully, Gaalivaana is now available to stream on Zee5. But before you start streaming, there are a few things that you must know.
Jointly produced by BBC and NorthStar Entertainment, the series is set in the Godavari district. Also, it stars highly celebrated actress Radhika Sarathkumar along with actor Sai Kumar, Chandini Chowdary, Nandini Rai, Chaitanya Krishna, Thagubothu Ramesh, Jyothi Pradeep and Ashritha Vemuganti.
Directed by Sharan Kopishetty, the series is extremely different from a regular feel-good series. It is expected to be an eerie series with some disturbing visuals.
For the unversed, Gaalivaana is the official remake of BBC’s very own miniseries “One Of Us”. It revolves around the murder of a couple that takes place on a stormy night. But their family is in no mood of letting go of that incident. Thus starts the series of mysteries and secrets that define the show. One of the best things about Gaalivaana is the way the narrative mixes with the visuals. The dark theme of the film is blended minutely with the narrative which again is supported by an eerie background score.
Thus the overall experience of watching it is elevated through leaps and bounds. So long story short, if you want something of a similar theme then Gaalivaana is a great option, to begin with.
