ZEE5’s upcoming original series ‘Mukhbir: The Story Of A Spy‘ has been making all the right buzz on social media. ZEE5 has launched several arresting posters of the spy series, all of which have served to increase anticipation for ‘Mukhbir: The Story Of A Spy’. Now, ZEE5 has also revealed the release date of the series on its platform. All episodes of ‘Mukhbir: The Story Of A Spy’ will release on ZEE5 on 11th November.
‘Mukhbir: The Story Of A Spy’ tells the inspiring story of an Indian intelligence agent who lived under a false identity in Pakistan, and helped the country with crucial information at the time of the second Indo-Pak war of 1965. The story itself is fictional, but it sheds light on the reality of hundreds of such spies who worked for the country, unnamed and unsung. Their names never went down in the annals of history, despite the exceptionally important work they did for the country at the risk of extreme danger to their lives.
The series is directed by Shivam Nair, who’s earlier directed projects such as Special Ops and Naam Shabana. Jayprad Desai is co-director of ‘Mukhbir: The Story of a Spy’. The series boasts an excellent ensemble cast, comprising Zain Khan Durrani, Prakash Raj, Adil Hussain, Barkha Bisht, Harsh Chhaya, Satyadeep Mishra, Zoya Afroz, Dilip Shankar, Karan Oberoi, Sunil Shanbag, among others, in prominent roles. The series is produced by Tango Entertainment.
