Zee5 has dropped the trailer for its upcoming original film ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ and its a witty crime thriller starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Helmed by Anand Surapur, ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ will premiere on Zee5 on 28th June, 2024.
‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ trailer is set in village named Rautu Ki Beli in Uttarakhand where a murder has happened. It’s an unusual event for a peaceful and relaxed place that has not seen any crime for decades.
Smart yet weird, Inspector Deepak Negi is incharge of the investigation and he has to lead a team that’s a little lazy to solving crimes. But as the investigation proceeds it gets more and more twisted and nothing is as it seems.
‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ is about an idyllic town in hilly north India that has been virtually crime-free for over 30 years. The inhabitants are bewildered when a school warden is found dead and the police begin investigating – under the leadership of Inspector Negi. Nothing is as easy as it seems when societal stigma, small-town laziness and ‘locals in denial’ get in the way of a seemingly straightforward case.
‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ is directed by Anand Surapur and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Inspector Deepak Negi, Rajesh Kumar as Naresh Dimri, Narayani Shastri as Warden Sangeeta, and Atul Tiwari as Tanuj Mehra. ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ will premiere on Zee5 on 28th June, 2024.
