Disney+ Hotstar’s currently running ad campaign with Shah Rukh Khan has now got bigger with multiple applications joining in on the thread on Twitter. While Shah Rukh’s idea of launching an OTT app seems to be thwarted by Disney+ Hotstar and its incredible content lineup, Anurag Kashyap and many others have a few interesting pitches for the Bollywood superstar.
With hopes of OTT on the low, Anurag Kashyap sarcastically offers Shah Rukh to launch a grocery selling app. To this Dunzo replies that since they are already doing it, Shah Rukh must venture into crypto currency app.

Seeing this crypto app Coin Switch Kuber, an app that specialises in crypto and claims to be India’s largest crypto app suggests King Khan to go for a digital payment app.

At this how could PhonePe stay behind and so the digital payment app took the chance of advising Shah Rukh to start a music streaming app instead.

Well, dating and Tinder have gotten synonymous in this digital age and therefore Tinder India thinks Shah Rukh should try his hands at a beauty product app.

Where’s there food delivery, there’s Zomato. Calling itself the badshah (King) of food delivery, Zomato although does not specifically give any idea but does say #ThodaRukShahRukh.

Well, the mystery of SRK+ continues for now but with time and the advertisement videos that have come out, the idea of it being a new OTT app seem to be a negative and it looks more and more like an ad campaign for the platform. The only (and a little far fetched) possibility is that it could be an add on subscription service much like Amazon Prime Video Channels that include services like Lionsgate Play, Hoichoi, Eros Now, Discovery+ and more.
