The new year is just tomorrow… and you have a chance to stream AppleTV+ for free. Why let it go?
Apple is starting the new year with a special treat for viewers worldwide. From January 3 to 5, Apple TV+ will be free for anyone with an Apple ID. Normally, the streaming service costs a certain amount per month, but during this weekend, you can enjoy it at no cost on any device where Apple TV+ is available.
This free weekend comes at an exciting time for Apple TV+. Popular shows like Bad Sisters and Shrinking recently released their latest episodes, and the sci-fi series Silo is currently airing its new season. The huge hit Severance will arrive a few weeks later, on January 17. The free weekend will likely promote these shows to a wider audience.
But even with a few major hits, AppleTV+ is struggling. It is nowhere close to Netflix or any other major competitor, for that matter. This is the reason Apple needs to promote their good content on a global scale.
This 3-5 January is nothing but a step towards that. Let’s see if it really helps the platform jump any viewership of Severance Season 2. Stay tuned to Binged for all the interesting updates from the OTT industry.
