Little Hearts, a Telugu romantic comedy, turned into an unexpected box-office hit, earning nearly forty crore rupees. The film, directed by Sai Marthand, tells the story of two underachievers who meet at a coaching center and fall in love. Its mix of light humor, emotion, and clean comedy struck a chord with audiences, helping it become one of the most loved small-budget films of the year.
After the theatrical run, the film began streaming on ETV Win, where it continued to attract attention. The makers released an extended version on OTT, which included a small but interesting new scene not shown in theatres.
In this added scene, the director himself appears as the hero’s brother, who is seen chatting playfully with the heroine’s sister in a café. Their fun exchange hints at a new love story and confirms that a sequel, titled Little Hearts 2, is in the works. This clever addition has created excitement among fans who enjoyed the film’s simple charm.
While many big films promised extended OTT versions but failed to deliver, Little Hearts managed to surprise viewers with genuine new content. Jawan, Animal, Viduthalai Part 1, and so many big films promised interesting additions to the OTT versio,n but they never came out to be anything more than a hoax. Thankfully, Little Hearts did it.
