Jurassic World Rebirth (Prime Video)– The hugely popular franchise is back with yet another instalment. This time following the events from Jurassic World Dominion, the movie stars the likes of Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali as the world deals with the fallout of the last movie. Although not critically appreciated, it serves its fans well and would continue to do the same on the small screen. (Watch It)
Court Kacheri (SonyLIV)– Param Mathur’s unconsented inheritance of his prowess over the law is what he has to turn to as he goes through the unbalanced dynamic between truth and power in the court. Although it can get boring in the middle, TVF elements keep you entertained. (Watch It)
Saare Jahan Se Accha (Netflix)– With operations in the shadows, lurking nuclear threats and a heart pounding narrative, this series deals with an international conspiracy as our RAW tries to keep India’s nuclear future safe. But it has many many problems. (Skip It)
Alien: Earth (JioHotstar)– The Alien franchise hits its first original series with Alien: Earth with Ridley Scott as the executive director. Set two years before the first Alien movie, it dabbles with themes fans of the franchise are familiar with, such as human greed and fallacy as the characters yet again face down the horrifying and brutal xenomorphs. Vyasanasametham Bandhumithradhikal (Manorama Mix)– This movie follows the events of a funeral function as the characters confront the ensuing chaos. Though the narrative clearly shows heart and humour, it fails to do so in a way that makes it stand out amongst its peers. (Skip It)
JSK – Janaki V vs State of Kerala (Zee5)– This legal drama thriller movie delves into the intricacies of the legal system and the potential of power to corrupt this supposedly free and fair system which is crucial to the lives of people. (Watch It)
Andhera (Prime Video)– Set in Mumbai, this supernatural series shows an inspector and a medical student confronting horrors beyond humans as they get entangled deeper within a missing person case.
