What to Watch and Skip This Weekend on OTT?

By Binged Bureau - Feb 15, 2026 @ 09:02 am
What to Watch and Skip This Weekend on OTT?

This week is significantly better than an average week when it comes to releases. There are tons of good titles, and the most notable is Kohrra Season 2. The series is remarkably good and so is “The Things You Kill”. Regardless, you can save your time and decide what you should and should not watch this weekend.

Kohrra Season 2
Streaming on: Netflix

The second chapter of the acclaimed Punjabi noir crime drama returns with a new investigation rooted in rural Punjab’s social tensions. Created by Sudip Sharma and starring Barun Sobti and Suvinder Vicky, the series is exceptionally well made. What makes it notable is its refusal to glamorize crime. The show is psychologically grounded and deserves to win an Emmy.

Our verdict: Watch it

How to Get to Heaven From Belfast
Streaming on: Netflix

From Lisa McGee, the creator of Derry Girls, this darkly comic mystery follows three estranged friends who reunite after a death pulls them back to Belfast. This show has sharp dialogue, layered female friendships, and a grief-tinged investigation.

Our verdict: Watch it

Bandwaale
Streaming on: Amazon Prime Video

A Hindi musical drama starring Shalini Pandey and Zahan Kapoor, this coming-of-age series revolves around a small-town poet-musician navigating identity, ambition, and digital fame. It leans into melodramatic performances and lazy writing. It feels lighter compared to other musicals we have seen on Prime Video.

Our verdict: Skip it

The Conjuring: Last Rites
Streaming on: JioHotstar

The Conjuring: Last Rites marks a climactic chapter for Ed and Lorraine Warren, played again by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. Directed by Michael Chaves, this installment dives into one of their most disturbing cases, aiming to close a defining horror franchise. Notable for its legacy value and atmospheric tension, it’s both nostalgia and spectacle.

Our verdict: Watch it

Ikkis
Streaming on: Prime Video

Ikkis is a biographical war drama directed by Sriram Raghavan, centered on Param Vir Chakra awardee Arun Khetarpal. Starring Agastya Nanda, the film dramatizes courage during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Its power lies in powerful performances and patriotism paired with intimate character focus. It is also watchable because it is the last film of Dharmendra before he passed away.

Our verdict: Watch it

Predator: Badlands
Streaming on: JioHotstar

Predator: Badlands flips the franchise dynamic by centering on a young Predator proving himself on a hostile planet. With Elle Fanning in a key role, the film expands the lore and explores alien perspective rather than repeating the hunter-vs-human formula. It’s franchise reinvention with ambition.

Our verdict: Watch it

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu
Streaming on: ZEE5

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu stars Chiranjeevi in an action-comedy that blends family drama with national security stakes. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, it mixes high-energy sequences with sentimental beats.

Our verdict: Watch it

The Things You Kill
Streaming on: Prime Video

The Things You Kill, directed by Alireza Khatami, is a slow-burning psychological thriller that premiered at Sundance. A university professor grapples with grief and vengeance after his mother’s suspicious death. Minimalist, morally ambiguous, and emotionally unsettling, it’s arthouse cinema at its sharpest.

Our verdict: Watch it

The Art of Sarah
Streaming on: Netflix

The Art of Sarah is a sleek Korean mystery set in the luxury fashion world. After a powerful executive’s death, secrets unravel through a tense investigation. Known for layered character work and atmospheric storytelling, it merges style with psychological intrigue.

Our verdict: Watch it

Lead Children
Streaming on: Netflix

Lead Children is a Polish historical drama inspired by real events involving industrial lead poisoning in the 1970s during the Communist era. The series follows a determined doctor challenging political silence. Its strength lies in systemic critique and moral strength.

Our verdict: Watch it
