David Noonan

David Noonan is a leading Australian artist whose works are characterised by a complex layering of historical and contemporary imagery. He has a longstanding interest in how we perceive time and diverse visual and material forms, often using found photographic images as a starting point.

Combining images and materials gleaned from magazines, books and the internet that might not otherwise be seen together, he conjures new and unexpected associations.
