Juli Saragosa, an interdisciplinary artist and sound designer, is a master of embracing contradictions in both her daily life and artistic practice. Raised in an immigrant family, she was encouraged to explore all avenues of creativity and learned to make the most of what was available, such as using a home photography darkroom. From a young age, Juli became an artistic experimenter, and her work as an interdisciplinary media and performance artist has been showcased at festivals around the world. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Juli is also involved in curatorial and educational endeavours, serving as a grassroots organizer of independent festivals, a workshop leader, a mentor to young artists, and a media arts instructor.
